Robert Perkins worked as a freelance artist for 9 years
developing his artistic skills before entering teaching in 1984.
Bob was head of the Madawaska Valley District High School Art Department
until his retirement in June of 2008. Primarily a painter, his preferred subjects are
the intimate local scenes which convey the story of the environment
in which he lives. Now in retirement Bob looks forward to returning to
his artistic roots, doing paintings and drawings of the people and places
that enrich his life. Bob also intends to further expand upon his artistic nature
through the creation of mixed-media ceramic sculptures.
