Julius

What do you do with someone who
always has a cheery smile and friendly greeting,
someone who honestly wishes you success in business
and is truly happy when you have successes,
someone who likes to tell the good news stories,
someone who talks about the weather
as something to be awed not feared,
someone who seemed to have been born “sunny side up.”
What you do with a person like that is
you spend as much time around them as possible
and soak up their positive energy
because chances are that person, or you,
are not going to be around forever.

Julius Tinus,
this community will miss you.
In honour of your life
there will be people who
will help “pick up the slack”
left by your absence.

Chris Hinsperger has spent most of his adult life as a youth worker,
with Browndale in his early years and later with the Ministry of Community
and Social Services and the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa Carleton.
For the past 17 years he and his wife Val have owned the Bonnechere Caves.
He is also a member of the Delfi Group whose motto is
“Helping people and organizations to be the best they can be.”
One of Chris’s pleasures of owning a geological treasure
like the caves is to welcome school groups were he can pass on
the wonderment of the planet earth and
what lies above that earth and deep down inside it.
